Full course description
This facilitated online course introduces educators and administrators to basic concepts related to disability, accessibility, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Participants are guided through a series of learning resources, activities, and discussions to understand how these concepts intersect with their disciplines and roles in education. They will also have the opportunity to apply the principles of accessible and universal design to their instructional practices.
We acknowledge that there may be instances of content overlap between courses in the Teach Access ecosystem, particularly in areas related to each other. Diverse accessibility needs can lead to recurring themes or principles that span different topics within this discipline. This overlap is intentional, reflecting our commitment to ensuring that all practitioners, regardless of their discipline, can access and engage with the material effectively.
